Meet The Owner
Ashley and Aaron Shannon
Hi, I’m Ashley Shannon, and together with my husband, Aaron, we own and operate The Ark School of Pleasant Grove. For us, this isn’t just a business—it’s our passion and life’s work. We are Christians and followers of Jesus Christ, and our faith guides everything we do. We’ve both dedicated over a decade to early childhood education because we truly believe that these formative years are the foundation for a child’s success in school and beyond.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Development, and Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s in Educational Leadership. While our education and experience have equipped us with the knowledge to lead The Ark School, it’s our hearts that drive what we do.
As parents to our two amazing children—Aashlon, who is 3, and Aaron Jr., who is 2—we know firsthand how important it is to find a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for your little ones. We understand the trust it takes to leave your child in someone else’s care, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly.
At The Ark School, we focus on more than just caring for children—we prepare them for the future. Research tells us that by age five, 90% of a child’s brain is developed. That’s why we’re so passionate about creating a high-quality early education experience that helps children build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
We also know that raising children takes a village, and we’re here to be part of yours. Whether it’s through open communication, workshops for parents, or simply being available to answer your questions, we want to support you every step of the way. Our goal is to not only care for and teach your child but also to empower you as a parent.
